My definition of the D.I.K.W framework is that one must first
begin with data. You must first collect all of the credible data you
can find to help with your study. Any symbols, symptoms, signs
you may have to help support what you are trying to prove.
Next you must provide information. This is information that
comes directly from your data but is more concrete and evident.
After information comes knowledge. Knowledge is a mix of
values, experience, expert insight.
Lastly is wisdom. This is when you take all of the material
you have collected, process everything and begin to use it in
practice. It is the final step because you have done your research,
you have found the answers and now you are able to utilize what
conclusion you have come up with.
