PROFILE

My name is Krysta Higuchi. I currently reside in Orange County and am pursuing my bachelors degree in
Communications at Cal State Fullerton.
I have a passion and love for sports and want to channel that passion into a career. I believe the world of sports
communication would be a perfect fit. I am a very motivated person and dedicated to my duties. I am very friendly,
genuine, and have a high work ethic. I always put 110 percent into my work and have a love and caring for what I do.
I have been in the hospitality industry since I was 16 and would not change my experiences for anything. I believe
being in food and beverage has taught me about teamwork, responsibility, and how to properly multitask. It has also
made me feel very comfortable, confident, and taught me how to become a leader., and role model.
I am looking to branch out and grow from the food and beverage industry and looking forward to a new chapter in my

Duties: I have volunteered at the PMMC once a week on Mondays since June of 2009 beginning as a
docent. In January of 2010 I transferred to the animal care department. My responsibilities include caring for the
animals, going on rescue calls, feeding, cleaning, nurturing, and caring for the animals until they are able to be
released, as well as helping and doing other tasks around the center.
