Project Statement:
KDD Company is a manufacturer of food and drinks products in the
Arabian Gulf. Some of their products are ice cream, juice, dairy, culinary, and
olive oil. This company has a lot of branches in Kuwait. These branches are
in different locations. Therefore, delivering the products to the branches
cost a lot of money. In our project we are going to solve shortest route
problem for KDD Company. Our goal is to determine the optimal schedule of
the shortest route between branches. Even more, it is very interesting
because it will help the company to minimize the coasts of delivery and
workers wage. We will calculate the distance between branches by using
navigation. Also, we will visit the industry to have more accurate data. In our
further study we are going to formulate the linear programing model and
then solve it, once by Excel Solver and anther time by the complex method.
