Questions for local law enforcement

1. Is the Robbery Unit patrol car 24hrs and is there one or

more of these patrols at any one time?

2. Are undercover resources actually being deployed in

Harringay at the moment? I was told this was to happen.
Obviously not looking for specifics, just a 'yes' or 'no'
answer.

3. Are the CCTV cameras along Green Lanes operated

24hrs by the control room and is the technology up to
date?

4. How many women have been attacked since the first

case was reported in November?

5. Have there been similar recent sexual assaults in

neighbouring areas and are any of these thought to be
related to the assaults in Harringay?

6. How many robberies have there been, and how many

sexual assaults?

7. Why can't police confirm whether or not the sexual

attacks are linked?

8. Under what legislation, if any, can the police pursue the

men who act inappropriately towards women on Green
Lanes?

9. How many investigations or arrests have the police in

Haringey made for this offence (see previous question)
in the last year? (if it is an offence at all)

10. Apart from the legal route, have the police got any plans
for how they could engage with the men on Green Lanes
and make it clear how that such behaviour is not
acceptable?

11. Some sort of update from the police is something that is

really needed. Why has this not happened?

12. Have the council recently sanctioned, approved or

opened any halfway houses in this area for ex-offenders
of any description?
