Learning Objectives: 4.SS.1.3.1 Identify American Indian tribes in Idaho: Coeur
dAlene, Kootenai, Shoshone-Bannock, Nez Perce, and Shoshone-Paiute Tribes and
current reservation boundaries.
Equipment Needed/Materials: MS Powerpoint, Possibly Internet, Class Notes
Lesson Summary:
Using notes from class, produce a Powerpoint presentation with your group
identifying these Native American Tribes from Idaho: Coeur dAlene, Kootenai,
Shoshone-Bannock, Nez Perce, and Shoshone-Paiute Tribes, and be able to identify
current reservation boundaries. Prepare a 5-minute presentation for class.
Integration of Technology: Powerpoint is a good way to help others to pay
attention and learn using pictures and audio while at the same time learning from
their fellow peers.
