Field experiences and clinical practice are planned and sequenced so that candidates develop the knowledge, skills and professional dispositions necessary to promote the development and learning of young children across the entire developmental period of early childhood in at least two of the three early childhood age groups (birth age 3, 3 through 5, 5 through 8 years) and in the variety of settings that offer early education (early school grades, child care centers and homes, Head Start programs).

The experiences realized in different programs include: MCS Limited, a
Home Day Care, Instituto del Progreso Latino Pre K Program and Carole Robertson Center for Learning. MCS Limited is licensed program in the South Side of the City of Chicago, this program care children of Infants, toddlers, Pre K and scholars to 12 years. At this site I observed and made my hours for CHLD DV 262, and made the evaluation for Family Program Advocacy, following a questionary guide. CHLD DV 201 Observation Assessment, and Documentation to Support Young Children and Families. For this class I observed program for 15 Hours, made observations and Child Case Study At Instituto del Progreso Latino I made the hours for my 109 Language and Literacy Development in Early Childhood class and use the ELLCO (Early Language and Literacy Classroom Observation Questionnaire.) This program attends infants and scholars. At Carole Robertson Center for Learning I did my CD 259 Practicum in Preschool Education, 250 Hours, that is attached in Section II, Sign in Sheets of this portfolio. This Center attends childrens separated by ages, from babies until 5 years.
