Weekly Journal: Crystal Dozier-Fairchild

For week of September 21, 2015
Week 4

This week was very busy. On Tuesday, I downloaded Microsoft Office on the office
computer and then was asked to assist in creating a PowerPoint presentation for the upcoming
Parent Information Night. Duffy and I collaborated on the project Tuesday and Thursday. I
compiled the presentation and emailed it to him by the deadline (Saturday).
I was also able to determine which ease of use database that I would upload for the
organization to input the student data into the database. I will set up the students demographic
information next week. I am very eager to see the results.
A strength that I noticed this week was my ability to adapt to the organizations demands.
However, I think I was weak in my ability to communicate and fully understand what Duffy was
attempting to convey. He helped me to think outside the box this week and look at differing
perspectives and expectations
