the specific skills for the standard mentioned above:
I am a student in Spanish four and during class I have learned about many diverse
cultures and artistic expression. I would say that we learn about many diverse culture
and that I have skills in the knowledge of it. In addition to this, I went to the Dominican
Republic where I was able to get good perspective of a different culture. Honestly, I dont
exceed the skill in applying global perspective to analyze contemporary and historical
issues because I havent had any activities or experience in this.
Explanation/Reflection of how the activity/task/experience described above meets or
exceeds the specific skills of the standard mentioned above:
In the one skill I excel in, Demonstrate knowledge of diverse cultural, linguistic, and
artistic expressions, it has taught me and given me new perspective on different
cultures. Spanish has allowed me to almost completely emerge myself into a different
culture/language, Spanish. In class we do research and learn about many Spanish
speaking countries around the globe. We also learn about the different art that has major
influence on the world today. As a result of taking Spanish four, I have been able to gain
knowledge of diverse cultures and artistic expressions.
