ABSTRACT
An Automotive is an integral of co ordinations between all the systems
present in it for the efficient functioning. The steering is one of the
important systems to be considered in guiding the vehicle to move from
one location to another. The steering system works on the steering
mechanism and there are Davis and Ackermann steering mechanisms
which are having practical problems leads skidding while taking turns,
wear and tear of the tires and so on. For the efficient functioning of
steering mechanism the error should be zero. In this project a new
steering mechanism with the help of the chain drive is proposed in order
to bring the zero error and it is expected to give correct steering. The
proposed one is complete mechanical, reliable and positive drive.

OBJECTIVES
This mechanism is completely mechanical and reliable.
It is expected to give the positive drive.
Minimize the steering error
To obtain the correct steering as close as possible.
It is able to reduce the cost.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Avoid the slippage of the wheel.
Avoid skidding while taking a turn.
Reduce the wear and tear of tires and enhance the life of

tires.
Expected to achieve the correct steering at more number
of positions.
