Introduction
I chose the Hunger Games as Ive seen the film numerous times and like
the use of the varies techniques used throughout the film.

Narrative
The Capitol of Panem maintains its hold on its 12 districts by forcing them
each to select a boy and a girl between the ages of 12 and 18 that fight to
the death, called Tributes for the uprising against the capital over 70 years
ago, They compete in a nationally televised event called the Hunger
Games. Every citizen must watch as the youths fight to the death until
only one remains. District 12 Tribute Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence)
has little to rely on, other than her hunting skills and sharp instincts, in an
arena where she must weigh survival against love resulting in a
competition which will change the whole system of Panem.

Katniss Everdeen-Katniss Everdeen is a 16 year old tribute who

volunteers as tribute to take her sister place. This one act shows her
bravery and loving nature knowing that the chances is that she will most
probably die to save her sisters life. Furthermore she is shown as a highly
independent and capable women as the death of her father in a tragic
coal-mining accident, left Katniss' falling into a deep depression while
Katniss stayed focused and took charge of looking after her family mainly
her younger sister primrose.

Primrose Everdeen-Primrose Everdeen is Katnisss younger sister

aged 12 and is the complete opposite to her older sister. Primroses
personality is very cautious, shy person and usually depends on someone
