They won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Set Design and were
nominated for a Tony Award for set design.
I personally like how dramatic and intense their work it, it engrosses you because
it is quite obscure. I wouldnt particularly describe it as enjoyable to watch
because it is quite dark and I find it slightly distressing because some of it is gory
and the puppets disturb me, but I can appreciate it as a good production of stop
motion because the puppets run very smoothly and it looks professional. I think
their videos that play to music work really well because the intense and dramatic
music works with the dark, intense music.

Articles

I enjoy watching Tim Burtons animated productions because they are engaging
and the animations are original and their faces and expressions are well
animated so you feel more connected to the characters. I find some of them
quite frightening like in the Corpses Bride or The nightmare before Christmas,
but I think theyre meant to be scary. For an alternative horror animation they
work really well because I find them quite disturbing but if the genre wasnt
meant to be horror I wouldnt like it as much because I wouldnt like the
characters. Tim Burtons set designs work really well with the characters and
storylines and I think his success as a creator show how good his animations are.
