Strengths of OBSERVATION
Personality aspects are usually important to be more efficient through
observation. Each person's behaviour is directly compared through
questionnaires or interviews.
The physical aspects of a building, a student, or a teacher can usually be
studied by checking, measurement, assessment, and comparing with a
standard set via direct observation.
Direct observation is needed to study physical activities such as games,
sports, and practical work.
Classroom observation can be used by the researchers to analyse the
effectiveness of teaching and how to improve it.

Strengths of DOCUMENT ANALYSIS

a) Assist in checking the data collected
b) Able to add special details to support the use of
information from other sources, if the document evidence
contradict and does not support, researchers have reason to
study more about the research that is being undertaken
c) Inference can be made from the documents (Robert,
1996).

Strengths of CHECKLIST
Can be applied in a wide variety of research situation
Respondents do not need to give any consideration. They
just need to give the real facts.

Strengths of INTERVIEWS
Suitable for respondents who can not read or who have limited
intelligence.
For those who usually prefer to talk than to write.
Easy for researchers to explain the purpose of a question to get the right
answer from the respondent.
A respondents sincerity in answering the questions can be seen from the
face to face discussion.
Respondents are unable to correct their answers if they want to modify
their answer based on the next question.
