Costume Notes

Jack Stone:
The character of Jack is played by Daniel Akinwunmi. We felt that
this was the typical attire for a no-good teenager such as Jack. His
hoody is scruffy and his trousers are dirty which may indicate his
rough living and care free nature. His snapback portrays his
wannabe personality by constantly wearing it in cold weather even
if it isnt bright outside.
The dark colours of his attire may even connote his bad lifestyle
which may make the audience sympathise with the character of
Jack even more.

Doctor Thompkins:
The images to the right clearly depict the character of Doctor
Thompkins which is played by Loretta Gleeson. This is the typical
doctor attire. The dress under her lab coat is smart, the
stethoscope around her neck is put on properly and not in a
scruffy way, a great representation of such characters which are
constantly stereotyped.
The reason why this was used to be worn by our actor was that
the lab coat and stethoscope could be acquired easily and free
from the science technicians at school which made it more
convenient.
