Location Notes

Oaks Park:
This location will be used in our production.
This is due to the following:
The character of Jack is a drug abuser who is homeless who has no home.
This means that it is unlikely that he will wake up in a warm house on a bed
However, there are a few weaknesses of using this location:
Public
May take time to have to commute there
The days are short and filming could take long which means that the lighting
would change dramatically
In general, we felt the idea of using a park for Jack to be located at simply
strengthened and added to the mise-en-scene and defined the character of Jack
Oaks Park High School:
This location is to be used throughout the majority of the production. This is simply
due to the fact that Jack is having a hospital appointment and it would be hard to get
permission to use a room at an actual hospital
Other reasons that strengthen our desire to use the location:
Doesnt require money to rent out lowering our budget
Easy access
Doesnt require commute
Available when necessary
King George Hospital:
This location is being used for some parts of the production. This is due to the fact
that Jack needs to go to the hospital and we need to film some shots outside of the
hospital to make the production more seriously as we cant film inside an actual
hospital.
Weaknesses of using this location:
Takes long to commute
Public may not like getting filmed so wont be able to film properly
