2016

January 15,

Our Lady of Unity Catholic

School

Dear Parents & Friends,

The tickets for the Blue and
Gold Sweetheart Dance are
printed and ready for pick up. If
you have not picked up yours
yet, please come by the school
office as soon as possible. All
tickets are here, numbers are
assigned to each family, and a
parent needs to sign for them.
Once you take these tickets
you are responsible for them.
Each family is required to buy
or sell at least four tickets. You
are always encouraged to sell
as many as possible. We are
hoping for a record turnout this
year. All money should be
turned into the school by
Friday, Feb. 5 so we have
enough time to plan for food
and drinks.
The PTO has been working
very hard to plan and prepare
for this major event. The food
and music will be great and the
company will be even better.
Please call the office if you
have any questions or if you
need more tickets.
God Bless!
Nancy Butters

SOCCER
Our Lady of Unity Parish will
be offering CYO soccer in the
spring. If you would be
interested in coaching grade
school/middle school soccer,
please contact Tommy Medina
at 913-530-4482. Virtus
training is required.

2016-2017 ENROLLMENT
We will officially begin our
enrollment on Feb. 15. There
will continue to be several
opportunities for financial
assistance. One way is by
recommending a family to
OLU. If that family enrolls their
child, we will pay one month of
your tuition. Early Bird
enrollment will continue until
April 1. Registration fees will
remain $85 per family if paid in
full by that date. After April 1
the registration fee will be
$150 per family. Start saving
now so that you can get that
large savings by enrolling
early. Also, make sure that
any families you recommend
give us your name.

END OF THE YEAR

PARISH CONTRIBUTION
LETTER
Most churches are
preparing to send out their end
of the year contribution letters.
According to your subsidy
agreement, we need a copy of
that for you to meet obligation
#4. Please bring in a copy
with your completed
documentation by April 1. A
letter from the parish saying
you are a registered member
will not be accepted. We must
have a copy of the end of the
year statement or a letter
signed by the priest saying
that you financially contribute
to your parish. Dont wait until
the last minute. Feel free to
call the office now with any
questions.

BOX TOPS
We are collecting Box Tops
for education again. Please
send in all box tops as soon
as you get them collected. It
is easier for us to prepare
them for mailing if you would
send them in cut along the
lines on the label. Thank you.

SERVICE HOURS
For those families who are
still looking for ways to get
your service hours, Fr. Kent is
requesting help stuffing
envelopes at the parish office
on Tuesday, Jan. 26 during
the day. If you can help on
that day, please call the parish
office at 913-677-4621 to let
them know. Thanks!
