RE: Radio Journalist Presenter/Producer

Dear Mr. Ashford

I am applying for the position of Radio Journalist Presenter/Producer at The British Forces
Broadcasting Service, I am applying because I think that I will be an invaluable asset to your station. To
begin with, my education has given me the necessary preparation that I need in order to pursue this career path.
Im interested in bringing high quality journalism and entertainment to the armed forces. I aspire to become a talented
and multi skilled journalist.
My educational background has prepared me for the role of Radio Journalist Presenter. In particular, my study of
Creative Media has given me a solid background in the field, some of the work that I have done in
creative media involves recording and editing sound. I am eager to contribute my enthusiasm and
up-to-date skills to the British Forces Broadcasting team and I hope that others can also learn from
me.
I am certain that my resume will give you a greater understanding of my qualifications for this
exciting opportunity. In addition to this, I am very passionate about music and I am also bubbly and
entertaining, I think that I will be able to communicate with the audience well; also I have a good
understanding of the laws surrounding the radio sector, and I understand the ethics that I would
need in order to work for a radio station.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with and learn from you and your talented team. I look forward
to speaking with you soon. Thank you, in advance, for your consideration.

Kind regards,
Jack Smith
