OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 to OBIEE 11.1.1.7.

1 patch Set up in windows

I have installed my OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 in windows xp sp3 using simple installation not
in enterprise installation
Download the Patch file from https://support.oracle.com in that you to download
these patch files

For up gradation of OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 to OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 .Before that make sure
that all the services should be stopped
Caution: dont start the services
First unzip the each files separately in Oracle_BI1 (Home Directory)

Now go to CMD
In that type these commands

set

set

ORACLE_HOME=C:\prod_mwhome\Oracle_BI1
PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
JAVA_HOME=%ORACLE_HOME%\jdk
PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%

set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\OPatch;%PATH%
Note : In the above command ORACLE_HOME path is Oracle_BI1

Now to that particular directory

After that you have use a command called opatch apply

Wait for a while the process will start

After completion it will display opatch succeeded

Similarly do the same process for rest of the directory

After completion of all the patches start all the services
