A nerve cell or
neuron
is a cell that is that surrounds the axons of some neurons,
electrically excitable cell that processes and creating an electrically insulating layer,
transmits information through signals both increasing the speed at which impulses
electrical and chemical. Neurons can connect to propagate along fibers of the cell. There are
each other to form what is called a neural many types of neurons, four basic types of
network. Neurons transfer are important neurons: unipolar which contains only one
because they transmit every piece of structure extending from the soma (cell body),
information to the brain. These cells are key bipolar which contains one axon and one
components to the brain and spinal cord of the dendrite extending from the soma, multipolar
nervoussystems.
