The government of Haiti is a semipresidential republic.
Its a multiparty system where the
President of Haiti is head of state
elected directly by popular elections.
The Prime Minister acts as head of
government and is appointed by the
President.
It is chosen from the majority party in
the National Assembly.

Haiti is located In North America.

Currency
The gourde is the currency of Haiti. It
is divided into 100 centimes

Tourism
With its favorable climate, second
longest coastline of beaches and
most mountainous ranges in the
Caribbean, waterfalls, underground
caves, colonial architecture and
distinct cultural history, Haiti has had
its history as an attractive
destination for tourists.

Haitian Creole is based largely on
French, with influences from various
West African languages, such as Wolof,
Fon and Ewe.

Culture
The culture of Haiti is a mix of African,
and European elements due to the
French colonization of Haiti, as is
evidenced in the Haitian language,
music, and religion. The culture also
surrounds additional contributions
from native Taino and Spanish
imperialism.

Food

Bean pure is often poured on top of


white rice. The traditional Haitian sos
pwa is less thick than the Cuban's
black bean soup. Black beans is
usually the beans of choice, followed
by red beans and white beans. Chicken
is frequently eaten, the same goes for
goat meat and beef.
