Data Collection Method

Working on understanding
vocabulary words using their
context clues and then putting
the vocabulary word into a
sentence.
As the students read a passage, I
can use a graphic organizer to
help students break information
down and keep track of what they
read.
I will again have the students
read a passage, but I will have
them make predictions before
they read and have the students
summarize what they just read. I
will also have them fill out a KWL
chart to figure out their
background knowledge.
I will decide on what I will do next
based on how they do with the
other two assignments. I will also
have them do another running
record to find out if they have
improved from the last time I
tested them.
Inquiry Research Plan

Having them tell me what the


context clues are and what the
vocabulary word means. Using
my notes and the feedback that
my peer provided to reflect
I will write notes as the fill out
their graphic organizer. I will also
take pictures of their graphic
organizers for data collecting
purposes.
