Working on understanding
vocabulary words using their
context clues and then putting
the vocabulary word into a
sentence.
As the students read a passage, I
can use a graphic organizer to
help students break information
down and keep track of what they
read.
I will again have the students
read a passage, but I will have
them make predictions before
they read and have the students
summarize what they just read. I
will also have them fill out a KWL
chart to figure out their
background knowledge.
I will decide on what I will do next
based on how they do with the
other two assignments. I will also
have them do another running
record to find out if they have
improved from the last time I
tested them.
