FOREWORD;
Im Deven, a school dropout; I present you the narration of the life
of Auro. Do not expect great English. I would try to present it in
the best way I can.
Chapter 1: AURO
I was standing on the edge of jog falls in Karnataka in India. One
step ahead would finish a useless life on earth. I was feeling
heavier. Everything was playing right from the beginning of my
life. I was born in a rich family to two professors in English. I fear
to take their name lest it would put them in greater trouble. I
never got on to studies, with my age my hatred towards studies
increased. By 15 I could never get on with them, I stopped
studying. I was at home for the past ten years .I tried many things
but everything in vain. I have seen how my parents suffered only
for the reason that they have given birth to me. I decided to end
my life. I came to jog so that no one could know, I committed
suicide. I was ready to put my next and last step forward, I heard
a voice so pleasant, so authoritative. He asked me if he could
help, he appeared an intellect right from his appearance. Why
did you choose to die, he asked. I replied I had no reason to live.
Live for me he said at once. Deven am Auro, we will live
together on whatever I have and whatever I would earn. I was
surprised to find he knew my name. At my confused expression
he said I followed you right from Hyderabad, I was surprised you
didnt talk to anyone on train I found your name from the
reservation chart, I followed you to jog, I saw you distribute your
money amongst beggars, I doubted you were going to end your
life so I came here lest you needed any help. I had a strange
feeling towards him.Let us go to England to watch the English
premier league final match,Auro said. I neither supported him

nor opposed him I stayed calm. He got my passport ready in a
week, he shopped everything for me, and we started for the EPL
match.
Chapter 2;
EXCELLENCE
Journey was very different for me, from the Indian railways to the
Indian airways it was altogether a completely different
experience. By the time we reached London airport it was buzzy.
Auro went to find what it was.A very precious necklace of an
industrialist named Madame had been stolen a while ago, he
replied when he returned. But how did you get to know all about
this I asked.Keep mum he ordered. I stood there, Auro asked all
people to gather in a place. Ladies and gentlemen am sorry to
disturb you, a very precious necklace of this Madame had been
stolen a while ago .so if you would please co-operate for some
time we would be able to catch the culprit, Auro said to the
gathering. He observed every one with keenness. Mam, was this
program a preplanned one? What did you observe when your
necklace was stolen? Auro asked the industrialist. It wasnt a
preplanned one, I decided a few hours ago, none could have
known it before hand, when I turned round when my necklace was
stolen I observed my driver lift my bag, he was bent and there
were many people between us, there werent many people
before.Madame finished. During the complete conversation Auro
glanced Madame's bag with keen interest. the culprit mam is
your driver, he is tall, he waited until you were about to enter
among many people he dropped your bag down slowly, he
removed your necklace at an instant and bent down to hid it in
your bag. You felt he was lifting your bag and as there were many
people you didnt doubt him .The only mistake he did was he
didnt close the zip of the bag completely otherwise it would have
been very difficult to find him out he removed the necklace out

of the bag when he completed his words .police arrested the
culprit every one applauded Auro for his effort.
Chapter 3;
EPL MATCH
Madame treated us so well she took us to her guest house and
asked us to stay there as long as we wished. Madame arranged
tickets for the match .The atmosphere in the ground was
outstanding I have never seen such atmosphere in my life .Auro
felt excited, many recognized him as he was made famous by the
British media. Foot ball is the most popular sport in the whole
world, sadly very few players from India are professionals in it,
happily over the past year two players showed they belonged to
the international arena and Suraj among the two is the highest
paid football player of the history of the game, Auro said with
much excitement. Audience gave a huge uproar when the players
were about to step on to the ground, meanwhile I was able to get
the autograph of Suraj on a piece of paper. Auro observed that
autograph very keenly, I felt him to be mad to observe every
small thing so keenly. Suraj was moving so well on the ground I
felt he would open his team PLUTOs account of goals. Suddenly
ball hit him on his chest and he lay flat on the ground. Doctors
declared he died due to heart failure .Play resumed and Ron a
player of Pluto scored three goals and starred in his teams victory
.Every one paid rich tributes to Suraj. This is a murder Auro said
to me. I was stunned it was clearly evident he died due to heart
failure. Suraj's friend Imran heard our discussion and he said
may be you are right, I saw him struggle even before the ball hit
him. Auro went to the cameramen and he checked all the
camera views on Suraj just before the ball hit him and in one view
it was clearly evident that his heart failed even before the ball hit
him.

Chapter 4;
LOCKER ROOM
Auro convinced every official that Suraj was murdered. He seized
the ground, he took me to the locker room. He asked me to stand
near Suraj's place .he was trying to imagine what had
happened ,he spotted a energy drink it was Surajs his name was
engraved on it. He carefully handled it and he sent that bottle to
be analyzed. He had brief talks with Suraj's teammates .After
long talks he came to me Deven lets go for now I need a favor
from you, get me statements regarding Suraj after his death. I
felt happy to be assisted some work .It wasnt difficult as many
news channels telecasted everything, there were many people
who praised Suraj but there were only two statements I felt
worthy. Manager Ray of crepe, team opposite to Pluto I did what I
could to the best of my abilities, even then the players didnt
perform. Ron player of Pluto said I proved we win matches, even
in absence of Suraj, losing Suraj would be never a big problem to
our team. Auro thanked me for the effort I put in. It was
confirmed that Suraj was murdered .pills that increased heart
beat were mixed in that energy drink, pills did not dissolve
completely and that helped us to know it quickly .Suraj was
running, so his heart was under great pressure coupled by the
effect of the pills, he was struggling before the ball hit him and
when it hit him he died.I wasnt able to utter any word a sad
ending to such a star.
Chapter 5;
RAY AND RON
Auro took me to Ray crepes manager. He greeted us and invited
us in. Ray said Auro I know you doubt me, but the statement I
gave yesterday was not about killing Suraj but tackling him on the
ground. I loved the way Suraj played and could never imagine any

harm to Suraj. I knew Ron hated Suraj may be you could
investigate in that way, remember I swear in the name of Jesus I
never wanted to get Suraj killed even in my dreams. Auro bade
goodbye to ray and he took me to Ron. Ron I can prove you
murdered Suraj ,your finger prints were on the bottle, you team
mates confirmed Surajs bottle was with you at least for ten
minutes, reveal the truth or accept this truth. Auro said to Ron in
a cool voice .Ron was terrified I didnt kill Suraj I agree Surajs
drink was with me for five minutes. I did this because Suraj would
lose his temper if he didnt get his drink quickly .I wanted to
disturb his temper but never kill him. Imran gave me that drink to
pass it on to Suraj.
Chapter 6;
WILL
Imran came to meet us.Imran who gave you drinks you
distributed to everyone.Auro asked Imran as soon as he saw
him.Jass ,Surajs girlfriend is the physical trainer of our team,
she kept energy drinks for all, everyone's name is engraved on
the bottle so I distributed it according to the names on the
bottles,I asked Ron to pass Surajs bottle to him.I had a message
from Suraj just before the match.I observed the message it ran
meet me morrow at my house at six in the evening!.I never
saw Auro act so quickly, he asked us to follow him , he took us to
Surajs place. Just as the clock stroked 6 a lawyer entered. This is
Aamir personal lawyer of suraj, Imran introduced him to us. We
introduced ourselves. Aamir said he had a message from Auro
asking to meet him at 6, it was the same message Imran got.I
care so much for Suraj, I want to fulfill the last thing he wanted
me to do, and really he was a child I would be proud to have,
Aamir said as he was moving round that place.Am thinking to
change my will ill inform complete details after the match..!.Auro
watched these messages with keen interest. Please give me the

details of the will mr.Aamir, Auro asked the lawyer.1000 cores to
Jass, 50crores to Imran to start a football academy in India,
money whatever he earned else he would spend it and if he died
suddenly that money would also go to Jass,Aamir said.Auro was
listening with great interest. He asked us to leave as he wanted to
search Surajs house, We left.Deven, I read Surajs diary,
relationship between Imran and Suraj ruined when Suraj started
loving Jass, Jasss original name is jasmine,a girl of Indian origin
born and brought up in England, just the day before the match
Jass and Suraj quarreled, he wanted to end his relationship with
Jass, he messaged to Aamir at this point of time .Imran met Suraj,
he consoled him and went to drawing room. When Suraj
confirmed Imran wasnt there Suraj transferred the complete
money to Imran's account using David another famous lawyer in
England.Auro said when he returned.
Chapter 7;
FUNERAL
I wasnt able to sleep well .Next day morning we went to attend
Surajs funeral. Just as we entered a beautiful lady probably Jass
entered, she knelt down and started weeping .she was muttering
only one word this is my mistake darling. She resembled Indians
only in one way and that was the way she cried. Auro received a
phone call; he went out and returned with police.Imran is the
murderer, he mixed pills in Surajss drink and Suraj died due to
the effect of pills.Auro said to every one.Imran went to the police
I accept am the murderer of my best friend, I doubted Jass, Jass
please forgive me, I do not have the right to live.I felt sad for
Imran, by the time he realized the truth everything was over. We
started back to India. I asked Auro about the complete case
details. when I observed Surajs autograph on paper I knew he
was under extreme pressure because that wasnt the way he did
it .I guessed something was wrong, the moment he died I

doubted. Imran gave me the evidence I badly needed by involving
,I doubted him straight away because if he was genuine he could
have protested his friends death straight a way. Ron ,Ray all
troubled my way but it cleared up very soon, so the case for me
was between Jass and Imran. While I read Surajs diary I observed
it was his habit to end a sentence with ..!. When he wrote or
messaged anything. When I observed the message Imran and
Aamir got sentence ended with ! .I understood Imran knew that
will was changed to his name but he expected the lawyer to be
Aamir but it was David indeed, he messaged to Aamir and his
phone from Surajs phone so that Aamir would transfer money to
Imrans account as fast as he could. He mixed pills in energy drink
and the rest you know from there. I had a completed case but I
had no perfect evidence to present in the court. To mix something
in a bottle you need to open its cap but to drink you need not do
it in case of bottles used by players, so I asked finger prints on the
cap to be analyzed, those were Imrans.I had him caught by the
police. I have had a lot of it know, I would sleep, wake up when we
reach India,Auro finished with a voice that echoed satisfaction. I
asked him what he was after all. Auro smiled and replied A
detective buddy and you would play Watson to my Holmes.I had
a reason to live now .I would sleep with satisfaction.
