Theater musical about The Secret Life of Nora is one oI the theater that always be waiting
by most oI the people who is Iull oI enthusiasm Ior theater. And Ior me, this is the Iirst time I`m
going to watch a theater and I`m very excited about it. When Mr. Shamsul told us about the
assignment that needs us to go and to watch a theater and try to Iind out about something that can
be related Irom what we have learned Irom our class, me and all my classmates were very
excited. For only about three to Iour days Amna take a time to decide what and which theater
should we going to watch. We are so lucky because timely the theater about The Secret Life of
Nora is just around the corner. We Iinally allied to stick with Amna plan and decided to watch
The Secret Life of Nora. The ticket starts at RM33 so no excuse Ior me Ior not to attend the
shows

This is my Iirst experience watched a theater with my classmates and I would like to share
my experience through this report. About one week beIore the date, we`re excited about the code
oI dress Ior 8tana Budaya in order to attend the theater The Secret Life of Nora. Some oI my
classmates say that its need we to wear a Iormal dress code and you`re not allowed to wear
denim. The issues oI the dress code became a problem Ior me because I just wondering to wear a
baju kurung iI its need us to be Iormal. Suddenly one oI my housemates says you just need to be
simple but well dress because most oI the people who had been to the 8tana Budaya they just
worn anything that they Ieel better but deIinitely it was not a denim. I just Iigure something that
nice and sweet to wear on that day.

A week beIore going to the theater, they ask me to look Ior something to wear Ior the
theater. I bought a long dress and I`m very excite and Iervor to wear it but unIortunately I was
too short Ior the dress and because oI my passion and how happy am I to watch The Secret Life of
Nora, I decide to lend my dress to someone else and I bought another dress Ior me. Most oI my
classmates were a little dizzy to Iigure out about what they should wear Ior the theater. In
succession the day that we waited have come, around 4pm we Iinished our class Ior that day, we
rushed to get home as soon as we can to prepared ourselves because Amna says we have to meet
them at Petronas Pasa 2 at 5.30 pm. And guess what, we are the one who came late at the
Petronas. We convoy with Iive cars Irom Puncak Alam to the 8tana Budaya.

On the way to go to the 8tana Budaya, we had to deal with traIIic jam along the way.
Alhamdulillah, about 7.45pm we arrived at 8tana Budaya but beIore arrived there we`re lost the
convoy because we basically lead by the GPS although we Iollow the convoy. All my Iriends
were wearing a beautiIul dress and guy was wearing smart casual. Whispering to myselI and I'm
delighted to say I was here. Maybe not need to say it but Ior me yes, I`m ready to watch the
shows right now and please let me in. I`m a bit clumsy that night because I lost my Iriend and
they bring together my ticket with them.

Suddenly, my Iriend calls me and says that one guy was oIIered us to set at the stalls.
Then we just wondering to look aIter that guy but suddenly the guy were also looking Ior us and
give us six Iree tickets at stalls. I Ieel that I`m the lucky person and I`m very thankIul to god
because giving this opportunity and I just grab the tickets and look Iorward Ior the other oI my
Iriend to invite them to sit with us but then they reIused. So we give one oI the tickets to Mr.
Shamsul and the others ticket we give it to guy Irom our class.






Once I settled myselI on designated seat base on the tickets I started to look around and
Ielt the aura that seems to surround me while I`m just looked at the stage. The stage was set in the
60`s era and it was Iull oI the glitz, glam and beauty while the cabaret dancers were the
entertainment highlights and the Malaysian prima donna oI the time Datin Seri Tiara Jacqueline
as Nora, she was as a beautiIul, rich cabaret owner and singer and not to Iorget Ryan Silverman
as Roger who is international agent, Adibah Noor as a Khatijah who is Nora manager, Aznil Hj
Nawawi as Mr. J aka Jamaluddin, Tony EusoII as a Agent Farok, Stephanie Van Driesen as Betty
and the last actor was Aaron Khaled.


The story began when Nora received a letter says that she was being selected Ior one
audition to be glamour actress and Nora decide to go Ior the audition. Unexpected she had chosen
by the director played by Tony EusoII aka Agent Farok. Agent Farok was looking Ior a spy and
Roger play a role as international agent who helps Nora in her transIormation Irom a stage drama
queen to a skilled undercover spy. But Nora deIinitely do not know that she has to becomes a spy
and have to saves the lives oI thousands oI women that had been trap by Mr. J.
Soon Nora knew about Agent Farok and Roger plan to make her as a spy and Roger
advocates Nora and teaches her the tricks to becoming a spy. And was very Iunny when roger
Iorce Nora to remember the spy tricks while her manager, Khatijah also learns the tricks. Along
the ways to improve herselI, Nora Ialls in love with Roger.
During the intermission, I was looking Iorward my classmates where the watches the
shows Irom the upper circles. While waiting Ior them to get down, I meet with the Iamous actress
and actors which is Umie Aida, Dr. Fazley the singer and his wiIe, Steven Rahman and many
more. I also have an opportunity to buy a book outside the halls. They were selling a lots oI
souvenir and I only eIIort to buy the book. At least I got something Ior souvenir Irom the shows
besides the tickets. Because this might be the 1
st
and the last time I go Ior a theater and I don`t
know when I can get this opportunity again in my liIe. At least I had been to the 8tana Budaya
and I had already watched the theater musical.



The shows continue again and this time Betty that had a lots oI dream that she wants to
become a singer like Nora and she get the opportunity when Aaron Khaled (sorry I couldn`t
remember his character) oIIer her to sing in his club. But unIortunately, Betty got caught by Mr. J
and all her dreams were destroy by the villain Mr. J and his assistant Aaron Khaled. The Iunny
thing is when Mr. J played with his weird pronunciations with any word that has the letter R` in
it. He also called Nora as Nowa, Raub as Waub. Lastly Mr. J and his assistant have been caught
by Agent Nora and Roger. From what I have watched Irom this theater musical The Secret LiIe
oI Nora is Roger and Nora was individualism whereby he was all alone by himselI Ilies over
