Hernando V. Pieres Nando was born and mostly raised in Miami,

Florida. After residing for four years in Colombia, South America, he
returned to earned his high school diploma at Archbishop Curley Notre
Dame High School in 1991 and attained a Bachelors of Arts degree in
Psychology with honors (summa cum laude) at Florida International
University in 1999. In 2003, he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree at
St. Thomas University, School of Law, and was first admitted to practice
law in that same year.
Nando began his legal career as a defense attorney representing various
insurance companies, corporate entities, and municipalities and later left
the defense practice to represent solely injured plaintiffs in personal
injury claims. Currently, he devotes 100% of his practice to civil litigation,
focusing on multiple forms of personal injury matters, such as auto
accidents, trucking accidents, slip/trip and falls, wrongful death, nursing
home abuse, product liability, medical malpractice, and workers
compensation. He also speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.

The Road to Success in 2016

Clean up and organize your emails. Create a system that works for you and spend 5 minutes a day on it.

Have your marketing plan for this year posted in your office, easily accessible and review it on a weekly
basis. Adjust as necessary.

Have your business goals posted for all employees to see. Update and adjust as necessary.

Make a decision to grow. Growth doesnt just happen. If you want to grow your business, you need a
vision of what that growth would look like and a commitment to make that happen. It means putting
your resources mental, emotional, financial, personnel toward growth.

Figure out what makes you money. All money is the same, right? Wrong. Businesses have two kinds of
money, cash flow which keeps the doors open short-term and profits which provides long-term
security. Understand, and concentrate on, the parts of your business that bring you profits.

Never assume.

MEMBER NEWS
My business goals for this year is to reach out to as many women as I can. I want to build an audience who is
struggling in self doubt, low self esteem that I can help inspire through my photography and videos. Ive
been wrestling with what I really want for my business and I realized photography and film is the tool that I
needed to reach out to other people who are hurting and tell their stories as theyve never seen before and

I broke my goals down this year by months. Januarys goal is completing all of the quarterly and annual filings no later than the 20th. I also want to help out the Scleroderma Foundation with their walk on January
30th. Finally, I want to send out reminders to all of our clients to submit their paperwork early. Joses
