    ASSIGNMENT 3 STEEL STRUCTURE

    Steel column as shown below uses W 840 A36; which is fixed from rotation at base. At
    top of column, it is laterally braced along x-x axis and free to rotate along y-y axis.
    Columns can also deflect on y-z plane. Determine the maximum design strength for this
    column.
