 Mission Offerings – A mission envelope was sent home today and may be
brought back anytime this week.

 Spelling Words – This week is a review unit. The lesson pages review the
spelling patterns and words from units 25-29. We will not have a pretest.
The final test on Friday will consist of 25 random words from units 25-29.

 Field Trip – Today (Monday) is our field trip to the Fujitsu Planetarium at De
Anza College. We will be leaving school at 10:30 AM and will return at about
2:45 PM. Those of you that signed up to drive, please meet outside our
classroom at 10:25. Some of you may be passengers rather than drivers.

 “Keeping Children Safe” Class – This is just a reminder that Mr. Luehring
will be offering this class tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the 7th grade room. Those
of you that are driving for tomorrow’s field trip and have not taken the class
yet must do so tonight.

 Disney “Oceans” Movie – Tomorrow, April 26th we will be going to the Disney
movie, “Oceans,” at the Camera 7 Theater at the Pruneyard. Those of you
that signed up to drive, a note was sent home today with your child. Please
be sure to look for it. Please remember that the students may purchase
popcorn and/or soda from the concession, but no candy. Students are
responsible for their own money.

 Memory Work Schedule – The memory work schedule for May will be sent
home sometime this week.

 Spring Musical – The spring musical, “The Nifty Fifties” will be performed
this Friday at 7:00 p.m. Come watch this fun performance put on by
students from grades 4-8! There will be a dress rehearsal on Thursday at
9:15 a.m. All students will be attending this performance.

 Robotics – Apostles will be offering a special 5-week robotics course for

students in grades 4-8 beginning this Friday, April 30th. The cost is $80.
Please stop in the office if you wish to register your child.

 Sacramento Track Meet – The WELS track meet will be next Monday, May
3rd. It is held at the American River College in Sacramento. The meet
begins at 9:00 a.m. Students should be there, dressed and ready, by 8:40
a.m.
