Task 1: (Computer Communication Lab)

Subtask 1
Create two 30 Bus topology for comparison with respect to Delay, Packet
Received and Packet Sent when one of the network has 8 link failure.
Compare the results obtained and come up with suitable explanation and
inferences from your observations.
SubTask 2
Analyse the performance of a 16 Star topology with respect to 16 Bus
topology with respect to Delay, Packet Received and Packet Sent. Consider
the bus delay as 0.02, 0.05 and 0.08.
SubTask 3
Create two Bus topology using 30 and 60 nodes for comparison with
respect to Delay, Packet Received and Packet Sent. Compare the results
obtained and come up with suitable explanation and inferences from your
observations.
SubTask 4
Infer the results (Delay, Packet Received and Packet Sent) obtained for 16
star topology for (switch +hub) and only hub combination, packet inter
arrival time are 0.02, 0.05 and 0.08 respectively.
SubTask 5
Create two 30 Bus topology for comparison with respect to Delay, Packet
Received and Packet Sent when the packet size is 4500 (constant).
Compare the results obtained and come up with suitable explanation and
inferences from your observations.
