low pass filter design

Aim:-to design a low pass filter for fabrication using micro strip lines ,the specifications are
cut off freq=4Ghz,third order, impedance of 50 and a 3 dB ripple characteristics

Design equations:n2 =1+Z2/Z1

n2 =1+1/3.3487=1.2986
Z0=1/c=1/0.7117=1.405
n2 *Z1 =1.298*3.34=4.34
1/ n2 *Z2 =1/1.298*1=0.77041

S112+S212=0.4489+0.4394=0.88
The graphs of S11 and S21 intersect at the cut off frequency of 4 GHz and their values at the
cut off frequency are almost 3 dB
