Failure is the result of not giving the best of what we can do. And to be the best, we must
learn from all the mistakes that weve done. As a teacher we should not be affected for all those
failures. Sometimes we feel that we didnt gave our full effort in doing a certain task, the reason
why we came not motivated in our next work. Instead of thinking of it, make it as a lesson for us
to be better.
It was a sunny morning of Monday, February 22, 2016 and another day to attend my field
study duty. I was supposed to absent on that day because I feel ashamed for what Ive shown in
my performance to our first school demonstration last February 19. I was really disappointed of
not giving the expectations of my students as well as my cooperating teacher. Im not in good
mood on that day I always think that the students are not satisfied on me. But instead of backing
off, I realized that I have to face it and continue to learn through this course in FS, and to expose
myself more in teaching in my Practice Teaching duty next semester. I told my students that I
will follow them in Grade V to fix all those unfinished business that I failed to perform as a part
of our teaching learning process. Hopefully I will learn a lot to improve my teaching skills to
exceed this frustration that I feel.
In spite of this feeling I continue my observation in every lesson that discussed by my
cooperating teacher. I also offered myself to take charge by handling the other section since their
adviser left for a while due to an important matter. I spent my day in doing all these tasks as a
preparation for me to be better. After that I asked the permission of my cooperating teacher to
leave because one of my classmates invited me to go in her house to be there in their town fiesta.
