DTMF CONTROLLED ROBOT

ROBOT
A robot is a mechanical or virtual intelligent agent
that can perform tasks automatically or with
guidance, typically by remote control. In practice a
robot is usually an electro-mechanical machine that
is guided by computer and electronic programming.

DTMF
Dual-tone multi-frequency signaling
(DTMF) is used for telecommunication
signaling over analog telephone lines in
the voice-frequency band between
telephone handsets and other
communications devices and the
switching center.

FUTURE SCOPE

ADDING CAMERA
If the current project is interfaced with
a camera (e.g. a Webcam) robot can be
driven beyond line-of-sight & range
becomes practically unlimited as
networks have a very large range

IR SENSOR
IR sensors can be used to automatically
detect &avoid obstacles if the robot goes
beyond line of sight. This avoids damage to
the vehicle if we are maneuvering it from a
distant place.

PASSWORD PROTECTION
Project can be modified in order to
password protect the robot so that it can be
operated only if correctpassword is
entered.

OUR CURRENT STATUS

Completed the connection of DTMF


decoder circuit
Integrated Motor Ics and the Wheels to
chasis
Fabrication of Components on PCB
board
Program is compiled without errors and
executed

FUTURE WORK

Need to Dump the program into


Arduino
Connect Arduino to motor ICs to one
end and DTMF module to other end.
Check the Output and see for the
further scope

CONCLUSION
Thus, we believe that our project will
be beneficial for various purposes &
hence our efforts will be fruitful.
