We observed that plants need sunlight and water to grow big and strong.

Question

Can plants grow with artificial light??? If I plant seeds in a pot and place it under a
lamp, will it grow???

Hypothesis

We predict that seeds can grow the same with artificial light and sunlight.

Fill cups with soil.

Label cups sunlight/artificial light.
Plant seeds in each cup.
Place one at a window and the other under a lamp.
Water each cup every other day.
Check progress every other day.

Analyze

We found that both plants about the same length, and had the same color.

Conclusion

We found that our hypothesis was correct. The plants did grow the same with both
types of light.
