Our Experiment is Colorful Flower

Observation

We observed that what we eat affects how we look. The same happens to the
plants.

Question

(Katherine Loera)

Will a flower change colors if we feed it colored water??? Or will it stay the same
because it was born with that color???

Hypothesis

(Yaretzi Vazquez)

We predict that if we feed white flowers with colored water, its color will change.

Experiment
(Genesis Partida)

Material:

Plastic cups
Bottled water

Procedure

Vegetable dye
5 white flowers

Fill cups with water and add two drops of dye.

Label each cups with the name of the color.
Place a white flower in each cup.
Check progress every three hours for three days.

Analyze

We found that all four flowers changed colors. The only flower that did not change
colors was the one that was fed clear water.

Conclusion

(Yaretzi Vazquez)

We found that our hypothesis was correct. The flowers did change colors. What
we eat can affect how we look.
