Oxfam Advert Editing

Advert 1

To start, I set the page layout to International paper and size A4 because
this is the press standard. I set the resolution to 300 pixels per
centimetre, this ensures that the advert will look as professional as
possible.

Here is a screengrab of me cropping the advert to fit the A4 page.

I then adjusted the brightness of the image.

Here I am adjusting the brightness and contrast. I have altered the

brightness by 5 and the contrast by 20. This will increases the
vibrancy of the colours, especially to the green background,
clothing and model. This will increase the focus on the model.

Here is a screengrab of colour balance and how I am going to use

it with my advert.

I have changed the colours slightly, increased the red aspect to

improve the dominance of the bricks on the wall. And the greens
slightly to increase the background colour.

Here I am inserting text onto the advert. I have written the slogan
and It will be placed around the top of the advert.

Here I am editing the charity logo and removing the white from
around the logo, I am using the magic wand tool to do so.

Here I am editing the logo to make it best fit the advert.

Here is the finished advert 1.

Advert 2

Here is the page set up for the second advert.

I then began to resize the second photograph.

I then edited the logo to suit the advert.

I then put the slogan and logo onto the advert.

I then inserted the slogan.

I then slightly altered colour balance. I changed the red by +5 to

give the clothing a more welcoming vibe and to also increase the
warmness of the advert, particularly the model.

I changed the positioning of both the slogan and logo to meet as

many conventions as possible.

Here is the finished second advert.

Advert 3

Here is the page set up for advert 3

I then started to edit the third image.

Here is the inclusion of the slogan.

Here is the Oxfam logo on the advert.

I then changed both the red and green by +5 to increase the glow
of the models skin and face and also to increase the impact that
the background has on signifying the natural fabrics used.

I altered the locations of both the slogan and logo. They now
create a diagonal point of focus which runs through the model and
the clothing.

Here is the final version of advert 3
