I tried to make this poster nice and simple and eye catching. To improve my poster I was told to take off the poster because you cant have a poster on a poster, to check the solid edges and gradient fill and have fewer pictures. Ver 1. draft 2
My second draft is different to my first draft because I have changed my background, I have taken the poster off, I have increased the text on the first paragraph and changed the pictures. I could still improve my poster by: making the first text shorter and more concise, change the second box because it is repetitive, give my readers a second piece of online advice, contrast of password and check and change the solid edges.
Ver 1. draft 3
My third poster is different to my second poster because I have maked my points smaller and made them so people can remember them. I have also changed the solid edges so that they go into the poster. Also I have put an extra bit of online information for my readers.
The new things I know now and didnt before is to never put a poster on a poster, make sure your background is light, make sure all your colours match up, make sure you dont have too much text, a couple of pictures, never put your name on a poster, make sure your pictures are blended into the poster and never underline your title.
Q2) Instead of the 8 rules, the thing that makes a poster a good poster is that: Dont put a poster on a poster. Dont put your name on your poster. You can break one rule, when you think you have mastered graphic design.
What I have changed is that I have put the text side ways. Ver 3. Draft 1,2 and 3
What I have changesd is I have taken away the underline, taken away the exclamation mark and made all the text the same size.
Ver 4
In this poster I broke a rule (the colour of the background). I broke the rule because I wanted to experiment on it, make my poster eye catching and make my poster different to all the other posters. I think that the background worked.
