Lucille Raines Residence

FACT SHEET

PROFILE:

Lucille Raines Residence, located in Indianapolis, is owned and operated by the United
Methodist Women of Indiana. At its capacity, the Residence houses 49 recovering drug and/or
alcohol addicts, both men and women, who are striving to get their lives back on track. LRR
offers a safe, clean and sober environment for residents given the opportunity to work on a self
help program. LRR residents are employed and expected to work a solid recovery program. A
part of this program is attending recovery meetings and working through a 12-step program.

MISSION:

Recovery is a spiritual journey whereby persons rebuild, strengthen and expand their relationship
with God. We stress that the help be a hand up, not a hand out. Rebuilding Lives-Committed to
Addiction Recovery

FACILITY:

Residents pay rent of $110 per week. The United Methodist Women of Indiana, Indiana
Conference, Advanced Special Giving and Donations give monthly support.
