Summary
This class will work on 7 units over a 20 week period. Those units of study are:
Unit 1 - Skills- Building a Strong Foundation

Unit 5- Safety

Unit 2- Social & Emotional Health

Other Drugs

Unit 6- Alcohol, Tobacco, &

Unit 3- Nutrition

Unit 7- Personal Health & Wellness

This course will follow the Michigan Model for Health. We will have speakers from
SHARE, Crittenton Hospital and others who have further expertise in the fields
associated with health.
Our goal is to give you the knowledge and awareness to make smart choices for
your health over your life span.
