Mission Statement
It is my mission in life to live with loyalty,
diligence, and respect;

Never forgetting who I am and where I have been;

Loyalty
TENET: I display loyalty to relationships and commitments through my actions and words.
GUIDING PRINCIPLE: I honor prior commitments and live a life of loyalty to family and my
significant other.
Integrity is constructed by dedicatory acts of loyalty. In doing so, trust is built in
relationships where loyalty is maintained.
ILLUSTRATIVE BEHAVIORS:

Stay dedicated to true passions such as becoming an interpreter and becoming a


respected husband and father in the future.

Stay true to prior commitments, written or voiced by showing up to meetings, or


assignments, early. In relationships, I will follow through with events I agree to (e.g.
dates, picking up the other party(s)).

Refrain from breaking trust that results in harm (e.g. refrain from knowingly abandoning
a prior commitment without notification)

Inform other person(s) when loyalty is compromised in order to apologize and be truthful.
If I must cancel an assignment, I stay loyal to the prior committed party by informing
them a cancelation must ensue.

Diligence
TENET: I maintain diligence through my work ethic.
GUIDING PRINCIPLE: I practice showing up early and working hard.
Illustrating hard work will give others confidence in working with me. Also,
remaining punctual shows respect to those with whom I interact with by not wasting
others time.
ILLUSTRATIVE BEHAVIORS:

Avoid missing due dates and event times (e.g. dates [relationship], events, work).
I will hand in work related duties on time.

Exemplify what working hard is in the various life tasks (work, chores,
relationships). An example is finishing a task instead of leaving it for someone else
to finish.

Gauge others circumstances and provide support when I can. If I see someone
needing guidance on the job, I will suggest ways to move forward in their work.

Inform other person(s) when diligence is not kept. When I fail to keep a strong
work ethic and it causes harm to an overall job, I must admit my mistake to my
peers.

Respect
TENET: I conduct myself in a manner thoughtful to my surroundings.
GUIDING PRINCIPLE: I am mindful of other people and things around me (e.g.
background, needs, perspectives).
Growing up in a diverse family and living with a variety of people, I understand people
have different viewpoints. Knowing everyone is human, finding commonality between
others is key to successful relationships
ILLUSTRATIVE BEHAVIORS:
Support diversity by welcoming conversations with different perspectives. I will
keep an open mind in tough situations.
Embody equality of people(s) by not discriminating, oppressing, and offending. I
will understand cultural perspectives of people in life situations and not show anger
in a derogatory way.
Avoid presumptions of people without knowing the person(s) first. If someones
actions are bad, I will not judge the person for who they are.
Inform person(s) when dishonest acts are performed. If I offend someone for not
being punctual, I will approach the person with humility and apologize.
