If music be the

food of love,
play on.

O, then unfold the passion of my

love, Surprise her with discourse
of my dear faith: It shall become
thee well to act my woes; She
will attend it better in thy youth
Than in a nuncio's of more grave
aspect.

It is perchance
that you yourself
were saved..

I think not so, my lord.

A brother's dead love,
which she would keep
fresh
And lasting in her sad
remembrance.

Duke Orsino is in love with Olivia, he tells his band to sing for him. Valentine
tells Orsino that Olivia's brother has died, she will mourn him for seven years.
She refuses to marry anyone and walks around with a black veil.

My brother he is in
Elysium.
Perchance he is not
drown'd: what think you,
sailors?

feelings for the Duke, who is in love with Olivia.

Tell him he shall

not speak with me.

Madam, I will.

Let her hang me: he that is

well hanged in this
world needs to fear no
colours.

Nay, either tell me

where thou hast been,
or I will not open my
lips so wide as a
bristle may enter in way
of thy excuse: my lady
will hang thee for thy
absence.

Madam, yond young fellow

swears he will speak with
you. I told him you were sick;
he takes on him to
understand so much.

Run after that same

peevish messenger,
The countys man. He
left this ring behind
him,
Would I or not. Tell him
Ill none of it.
Make me a willow cabin at
your gate, And call upon
my soul within the house;
Write loyal cantons of
contemned love And sing
them loud even in the
dead of night; Halloo your
name to the reverberate
hills And make the
babbling gossip of the air
Cry out 'Olivia!'

Olivia didn't want to see Viola at first. When Olivia allows for Viola to come in,
she begins to tell her about the Duke and the love he feels for her. Olivia
explains that she is not interested in him or anyone else, Viola gives the speech
to her and leaves.

I do I know not what and fear

to find Mine eye too great a
flatterer for my mind. Fate,
show thy force. Ourselves
we do not owe. What is
decreed must be, and be
this so

Olivia tried to pay Viola for the message he had delivered, Viola refused and left.
When Viola left, Olivia told Malvolio to pay him (Viola). Olivia also realized that
she was falling in love with Cesario without knowing that in reality it was Viola.
