Mrs.

Bauers Classroom
procedures
These are the procedures we will follow
this year to learn, play, and have fun.

Why should we have

procedures in our classroom?
To do things effectively we have to follow to some common
sense polices.
Governments have laws to help maintain peaceful
communities
Companies have by-laws in order to have productive work
environments.
Games have rules to create a baseline standard of play.
So, to be successful in learning, you need to follow some
basic classroom rules and procedures.
Can you think of any rules and procedures you have to follow
at home? How do these rules and procedures help you and
your family at home?

Choices Students Make:

We are all given several opportunities to make choices
throughout any given day. The choices we make
determine the positive or negative outcome of each
situation. Our days can begin and end positively or
negatively based on these choices and outcomes.
If we all take the time to think situations through
before making choices, we can weigh the options and
make choices that produce positive outcomes. Among
others, good choices include following school and
classroom policies, being a leader instead of a follower,
and using good manners.
If we do not make good choices, we usually wind up
feeling badly and having to deal with the consequences of
our choices and/or actions. I am fairly certain we will all
agree to make an honest effort to make good choices in
and out of our classroom.

Our Agreement
I have read the class rules and agree
to follow them.
