Connecting to the Blackberry Server...

The purpose of this document is to provide the blackberry

device user an understanding of what to expect after they
are connected to the Blackberry Server

Email Calendar Memo

Address Book Task

 Email

All ABCUSD email Mail will

now arrive in the message folder.

Deleting from this folder will

prompt you to delete the email
from the device,GroupWise
Desktop or both.
Deleting from the Desktop
however does not delete mail
from the device.

 Address Book

Use the “lookup” command in

the address book to view and
access all the addresses and
address groups in the GroupWise
Address Book .
Note: Personal address book was
not configured for access at the
time of this publication

Calendar
Calendar entries will populate
from your GroupWise calendar
to your device calendar and vice
versa.
Note: Sliding the calendar entry to a
different date will not register with the
blackberry. Retype the entry on the new
date to ensure proper delivery to the
blackberry.

 Memos
Memos will populate from your
GroupWise desktop to your
memo folder. Use the posted
message option under “create
mail” to start.

Tasks

Task entries will populate from

your GroupWise desktop to your
device, and vice versa.
