I am writing this letter on behalf of Miss Viviana

Gonzalez and it is a pleasure and privilege to

do so. I became acquainted with Viviana this year, as she is a student in my English class. She is
highly motivated, organized and very responsible. She works hard to maintain her high GPA of
3.20 and she rarely misses a day of school.

Viviana has a warm and genuine personality and she has been able to communicate and work
well with others. She demonstrates her competency, energy and commitment to others in every
task she undertakes. She is a diligent and dedicated student, as she has set her goals high. Her
goal after high school is to attend Merced Junior College, then transfer to a CSU and attain a
degree in English. She hopes to secure a position teaching high school English in the Central
Valley. In preparation for her future, she has been a teacher's assistant for the past three years
and has mentored/tutored in several classrooms.
Viviana is a bright young lady with so much to offer. Her rnotivation in the academic arena
well as in her personal life is impressive and it shows in everything she does. Her desire to
succeed stands out above others. I believe that Viviana should be at the top of any group of
