To Whom It May Concern;

It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Farin Pacheco. I have known Farin
since J anuary 2012. She was in my Health and Family Living class and Child Development
class at Merced High School during her junior year. She is currently my T.A. As a student,
Farin demonstrated many qualities that will enable her to be successful. She is attentive and
follows directions. She completes her assignments in a timely manner. She works well on both
individual and group projects, working effectively and cooperatively with fellow students.

Farin carries herself with confidence and a positive attitude. She currently has a 2.98
GPA. She plans on pursuing a career in teaching. She will be attending Merced College
before transferring to CSU Stanislaus. She will major in Liberal studies with a minor in
English. Farin is currently in the Foundations in Education ROP class. Through this class
Farin has gained experience in a 1st grade classroom, she has been exposed to writing lesson
plans as well as integrating Common Core. She is always excited and eager to go to the
elementary school and work with the students.

Farin was a student athlete for two years. She played J V softball during her freshman and
sophomore years. She has held a part time job for the last year demonstrating responsibility
as a student by maintaining her grades. Farin is enthusiastic and friendly. Overall, I believe
she has the determination and study skills that will enable her to succeed as she continues
with her education. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
