standardized tests (Francis, et al., 2004).

Population
The population of this study consisted of
students at SMK Puchong Perdana, Selangor.
The total numbers of respondents are 40
students consist 20 students from science
stream class and another 20 students from
art stream class among of 2386 total of
students.
Data collection method
We distributed the questionnaires to 40
students at SMK Puchong Perdana

CONCLUSION
In overall, the involvement in the cocurriculum do not give high impact towards
students achievement because they believed
that their achievement in PMR Exam rely on
their effort in academic performance rather
than co-curriculum performance
Our findings are interrelated with the
research done by Leung, Ng, and Chan, 2011
that conclude the participation in some nonacademic co-curricular activities might not
directly benefit academic performance
