Meet the teacher.

The Basics
My name is Toni Kitchens. I have been at North Columbia
elementary since January of 2000. This is my 8th year
teaching Kindergarten. I am very excited about being your
childs teacher for the 2015-2016 school year.

My Education
I was born and raised in Columbia County and graduated
from Evans High School (GO KNIGHTS). I completed my
undergraduate studies at Augusta College and then earned
a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from
Georgia College, in Milledgeville. I have been teaching
since August of 1992. My first job was 4th grade at Wrens
Elementary, from there I taught 4th and 2nd grades at a
gifted academy in Savannah, and 1st grade at an Island
school. Then my family moved to Statesboro, where I
taught SIA and 2nd grade. Finally, the Lord made it
possible for us to come back home, when a job opened
here, at NCE! Since joining the NCE family, I have taught
4th and 3rd grades, EIP and my love..Kindergarten!

I have been happily married to the love of
my life and best friend (Mr. Mark) for 22
years. We have two beautiful gifts, Jaci
