This lesson plan teaches students about bones in the human body by having them sing a modified version of the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" where the lyrics name different bones. Students will stand together and sing the original song before separating into groups. Each group will then create their own version of the song by replacing the words with bone names while still singing the chorus. Finally, groups will perform their bone songs for the class.
