Goals

Professional: My professional goals are impacted by life experience, character,

and commitment, as follows:
Graduate from The State of New York Polytechnic Institute with a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (May 2016)
Apply for, and obtain Community Health Nurse status
Receive a promotional position with OMH as a nurse with a BSN by
Jan. 2017
In closing, I will increase, and work on knowledge, skills, professionalism,
the ability to collaborate with nursing colleagues, other health professionals,
patient, and their families to promote and provide the best care possible
rendering optimal results.
Personal: My personal goals are cultivated by my family, ethnicity. And career.
Being a women of color, African American, has also influenced my
perspectives. I have encountered many struggles throughout life, both
personal and professional.
First and foremost to remain dedicated and faithful to God, my family, and
the nursing profession.
To accept love more freely and to love more unconditionally
To embrace my diversity and be respectful of others differences
To give back to the community and foster youths in education and life skills
Overall, my goal is to let go of past disappointments and live my life to the
fullest.
