on the job training is a requirement for the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program. The total
number of hours set for internships according to CHED is 200 hours. During the On-The-Job training
program, you will be assigned to work at a company where you will experience an actual working
environment in order to give concrete meanings to the theories and learning posited in the classroom.
Practicum/Work Integrated Learning
The course supports students embarking on their first applied practicum course in preparation for
professional work as business practitioners. The primary instructional strategies used are self-directed
learning, self-assessment, peer teaching and reflective practice. These concepts are woven together using
sound instructional design methodology. The course is framed around carefully considered course goals
and specific, achievable learning outcomes that focus on the higher level learning competencies.

stock exchange offices, securities brokerage firms; or at the finance department of a carefully selected
private company or government agency.
