EXPERIENCE

Through the classes I have taken and my experiences at Kid City USA, I have developed a
personal teaching philosophy that will be implemented into my future classrooms. I am
preparing to teach younger children, look at each child as an individual, and prepare my
lessons accordingly. My goals are to challenge students and watch them grow. I will teach
each child at their own level, but see them develop together. I want to give students
straightforward instruction, but also let them have enough freedom and imagination to grow
on their own. Students should be able to experiment with likes and dislikes and to realize
their strengths and weaknesses. As a future educator it is crucial to remember to enjoy
every student and know you are also learning from them. Teaching can be a struggle, but
also very rewarding.
