Unit Five Collage Assignment

You may use a regular sheet of paper or larger, but you need to supply larger
paper or poster board if you want it. The size of the collage is not what is
important; it is the quality of the collage.
Create a collage of pictures, drawings, artwork, etc. to represent your
understanding of the Holocaust. Be creative but try to find pictures that
represent the pain and suffering of the Jewish people. Keep your collage as
tasteful as possible when dealing with such a difficult subject. If you are not
sure, please ask me.
On a separate sheet of paper (it may be taped/glued to the back of your
collage if you wish), write at least a one page explanation of the items you
decided to include in your collage. How are these items or images related to
your understanding of the Holocaust?
Written part must be organized into paragraphs, not one block of writing.
Your explanation must be thoughtful, and explain all of your images or items.
