Logbook

This week was our first week back in Term 2, and it kicked off just as it
ended last term. We were practising our performances again, every lesson
and it was like we didnt have any time off at all.
1. This week, the activities that we have been doing are mainly just
practising our performance, and trying to relearn the lost lines over
the holidays. We were also told today that on Thursday week 2, we
would be performing in front of the other class, so this really got us
working ahead of our practise performance.
2. The purpose of the constant rehearsals is so that when we perform,
we look, sound and act well and with the best knowledge that we
can. We dont have many lessons next week so there will be a bit of
a gap in lessons, but I think that we can get by.
3. There wasnt a very wide range of activities this week, but I believe
that I achieved about 70% of what I could of. I had the mindset of
first week back, it doesnt really matter and I think that kind of held
me back in the group during that week.
4. I was working with Kat, Emily, Oli and Louis and I find this group
rather productive, and I am comfortable around all of them. I found
myself giving offers this week as I usually do, and to have the group
behind me, so I feel like I work well with them.
5. I dont think that this week posed any true development to myself
as a drama student but I think that these next few weeks leading up
to the performance, can show true potential.
6. Kat and Oli create a very tense atmosphere in the middle of the play
as they fight with words and face away from one another, but they

resolve it through touching each others faces and looking deep into
the other persons eyes. I think this helps a lot with the performance
as it develops a more in depth and personal connection to the
characters.
