Even among the beauty that earth offers

Among the love that people share
And among the friendships that are held
Its still not said enough
Even after happiness has been experienced
After achievement has been reached
And after meaning is found in life
Its still not said enough
Even though obstacles have been met
Though hardships have been endured
And though losses have occurred
Its still not said enough
To criticize is easy
Whereas to appreciate seems hard
Maybe that's why
Its not said enough
It may be due to fright
It may be out of spite
But in the face of each day
Im not afraid to say
I am thankful.
